Ms. Zuping Zhang practices in the fields of electronics, computer and mechanics. She has expertise in drafting patent application and prosecution, replying the official actions and patent reexamination, patent validity, patentability assessments, authorized prospective analysis and agency of invalidity cases.
Ms. Zhang has worked at China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) for twelve years, serving as the director of the Patent Examination Cooperation(Guangdong) Center of the Patent Office, CNIPA and the examiner of the Patent Examination Cooperation (Beijing) Center, mainly being involved in patent substantive examination, checking patent examination quality of the domestic and international patent applications in the area of computer and machinery; furthermore, being engaged in a number of utility model patent analysis, preliminary examination of utility model patents, quality control of domestic patent applications, training patent examiners and patent attorneys, and business services, etc.
