Ms. Fang Tian specializes in protection of intellectual property rights in medicine, pesticide, chemistry and materials. She provides clients with legal services including patent application, reexamination and invalidation, administrative litigation, patent validity analysis, infringement risk analysis, freedom-to-operate and patent layout.
Ms. Tian graduated from Beijing Normal University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in physical chemistry, respectively. Her intellectual property career began in 2002. She had worked in Beijing Center of Patent Examination Cooperation of China National Intellectual Property Administration(CNIPA) and Patent Reexamination Board of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) successively, handled more than 600 invention patent applications, completed more than 50 international search reports and review opinions in English and Chinese in the international phase of PCT applications, completed more than 100 review cases and more than 10 invalid cases as a full-time review officer, and engaged in teaching and research work as a full-time new review officer in the Education Background Department of the Patent Office.
Ms. Tian has provided patent application and reexamination services for domestic universities, research institutions and pharmaceutical enterprises including Peking University, Institute of Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Material Structure of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Institute of Metrology, SDIC Biotechnology Investment Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Langland Technology Development Co., Ltd., and provided nearly 10 cases of patent validity analysis, infringement risk analysis and FTO analysis services for many pharmaceutical enterprises.
