Ms. Rong Xie specializes in protection of intellectual property rights in medicine, pesticide, chemistry and materials. She provides clients with a large scope of legal services including patent application, patent reexamination and invalidation, administrative litigation, infringement litigation, patent validity analysis, infringement risk analysis, freedom-to-operate, patent layout, etc.

Ms. Xie graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology and Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, obtaining a bachelor's degree in polymer and a master's degree in organic photochemistry, respectively. After leaving graduate school, she had worked as a substantive examiner in the Patent Examination Cooperation Center of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) for 9 years. She had accumulated rich patent examination experience in domestic and PCT patent applications, covering unique literature retrieval and analysis ability. Since 2014, she joined Origintelligence as a co-founder.
